Hannah Turns 5

 Purple Princess.
Lazing around drinking. :)  This girl knows how to just lounge.  In chairs, in laundry baskets, the laundry.
Saige loves laundry.  moving it around, wearing it, whatever as long as she gets to play with it some way.  She had crawled in the basket and just covered her self.  A little later she wanted out, so I got her out and she turned around emptied the basket, crawled back in and started piling it back on again.  Kept doing this for about an hour.

Wow, hard to believe that Hannah is 5 all ready.  She is quite the spunky girl.  She doesn't like to hold still and is always on the move.  Makes church fun, though she has gotten better over the last couple of months.  She is a loving big sister and is willing to help when asked.  She is a total girly girl.  She loves to wear dresses still but also loves be out side in the dirt.  She has started singing more and will be a beautiful singer like her parents.
She is so excited to start school this fall, which will give Saige and I time alone.  Her favorite colors are everything except black.  But pink and purple are at the top.  She loves fairies, butterflies, and ponies.

She is an amazing young lady.  That brings lots of fun, headaches, and love to our home.  Wouldn't have it any other way.

Elijahs Birthday

Can just say how time has gotten away from me.  Wow 4 months have pasted and a lot has happened but I will just give a few tid bits, since we aren't to exciting.  Halloween was a little chaotic with us watching a friends kids while she was in the Hospital with a new baby, but we survived with the addition 4 kids.  I at least got my exercise in with all of the 7 kids being under 8 years old.  We really did enjoy having them.
I love that all three of the kids love being together (most of the time).  Elijah I think most of all, loves being with Saige.  They truly have a special bond.
A while ago we were getting ready to head out the door and as I was walking out the door I had to do a double take at Hannah's sandals, for good reasons after I did the second take.  She said she couldn't find the other one, but we all know I found it when I looked, Right.
Hannah loves to put things on her sister, the sun glass have some of the more normal things you find on a baby, luckily.  I walked in one day and found that Saige was sporting her sisters tights on her head.  By the time I got the camera she had pulled them off.

We were able to go to some lights up near the golf course.  This neighbor hood had some displays that told the story of "The Night before Christmas".  The kids enjoyed running to the next sign and having Adam and I take turns reading them.

I had to share this.  I always seemed to think she would grow out of her weird sleeping positions, but I am beginning to think she may not.

Camping Fun

We went to the Park a couple weeks ago.  That may not seem big, but between all the rain, no car during day when Adam is at work, and other things we just have not been able to get to the park.  As you can tell Saige just loved it.  She was just loving watching the trees that were moving above her.  And of course it was short lived, after an hour it started to rain.  At least we made it for a short time.

Hannah made a tent the other day and insisted that her little sister had to come in with her.  Saige put up with it for about 10 min.

Love when cousins get together.

Elijah has been bugging us for ages to go camping, and of course things keep getting in the way of us going so, two day before we decided we were going, before anyhting else could happen.  So this last weekend we headed down to Red Cliffs to spend the time camping as a family.

What a great couple of days..  It waited to rain till morning.  So we took a beautiful hike in the rain.  On the hike we saw a great looking tree that had fallen over a long time ago.  Adam thought it was cool, it was all hallowed and Elijah called it a dinars our bone.  His reply was actually dinars our bones above the ground turn into trees.  There was another tree that had been struck by lighting a very long time ago.  And the branch was still attached so when it had fallen over it still kept growing so it was all twisted.  There are some things you don't take for granted and that was talking and spending time with my kids and husband. Hiking in the rain.  Had a full blast to the past while hiking today.  We started our hike and Elijah says "this isn't a hike it's a trail."  Yep so remember saying that to my mom.
