Wow, so I have been doing this all wrong. While trying to get these posted, I kept getting errors saying I have reached my photo limit. WHAT!!! I have never thought about the size limits. So if you have good sized photos you can only go up to 1G of photos, Unless your photo is under 250K then it doesn't go towards your 1G of free space. So if my pictures look like they have lost quality it is because they have. For Blogging purposes any way.
This year Elijah really wanted to help with the Christmas lights. We thought he could give it a try. If he didn't listen to one thing Adam said he would be done and have to get down. Well he listened, he was actually a little scared when he got up, but did a good job. He sure was Happy after they finished and turned the lights on.
OK is this not a totally diva girl. After not going sledding last year because the snow didn't stay long enough we were finally able to go this year. The Sat. before Christmas We all spent 2 hours sledding. Yes I even gave it a try. Elijah wanted me to keep going with him, because "Mom, your fat tummy makes us go faster." Yea I guess that is one way to say it, more weight does help. I only made it down twice, once with each kid. Adam had to help me up, after putting on the snow suit and coat I had to roll out of the sled. Elijah, bless his heart tried to help.
The two kids had so much fun. Hannah was a little nervous since she hasn't gone by her self before, but after a few times she was even trying to go down backwards. Got to what brother does right!!!
Elijah even started a snow fight, And then all three of them ganged up on me. After running up the hill to get away I was ready for a nap.

My Kiddo's and our Twin story
Yesterday we went and found out that we will be having a girl. We plan on naming her Saige Kalianna Haley. Adam new it was going to be girl the entire time. I had no idea. Hannah is really excited about having a sister and Elijah was disappointed that he wouldn't be able to get a bunk bed in his room. Though he really is excited to be having a baby in the family. He does so well with little kids and babies. I think the ultra sound above makes her look like a monkey. What do you think?
Elijah got a large puzzle for his birthday from one of his friends, so we put it together the other night and he actually did most of it him self. He is getting so grown up it amazes me that just a short time we found out he would be joining our family.
Both the kids love helping me in the kitchen. So the other morning Elijah made the bacon and Hannah cooked the eggs with some help. Elijah just last night cooking his own fried eggs by him self. He cracked the egg and flipped them and every thing. Can you tell that he is just so proud of what he can accomplish.
Today I was taking some pictures of a friends husband for some work stuff, and the kids decided that while we were waiting for them to come that they needed to pose. I am so glad that as much as they fight at times that they really do love each other and would protect each other.
When Adam and I first got married Adam had a dream several times before Elijah was born and was able to see are kids. So we new Elijah would be first followed by Hannah. But we also saw a set of twins and and then a baby boy. So we have been looking forward for each child to come along. I think that is why it was so hard to not be able to get pregnant or have so many miscarriages because I new they were waiting.
Well obviously we are not having twins. We shared this experience Adam had with Family members and Some close friends, so we have had couple ask us why we aren't having twins, and I am sure there are some people who are just to nice to say any thing. So I wanted to share some of the things that Adam and I have felt since we found out about the baby coming.
There are several reason that we can guess as to why we aren't have the twins we thought would come. 1. I have had many miscarriages and we don't know which little one or little ones I was carrying for the short time. 2. Maybe Adam and I didn't keep the experience more sacred. 3. Or maybe Heavenly Father just new that I would not be able to handle caring for twins on my own. I for one know I would have lost it. 4. Maybe the twins weren't twins at all maybe they just look a lot a like. And number 5, This one is one that strongly presses on my mind. Heavenly Father may show us things through special experiences, like showing Adam our children, knowing that that is not what would happen. But showed us some thing, so that when it isn't what we saw, that we could have that Faith in Heavenly Father knowing that we were getting what was planned in the first place. Heavenly Father wants us to trust him in all that happens in our lives, this may be one way of telling our family that we need to have more trust in him, and even when things don't happen the way we thought it would that we would still have the faith, Hope, and most important Love for Him and the Savior and who ever may be coming in to our Family.
I am in no way disappointed that we are only having one baby, I am thrilled that Heavenly Father still finds be to be person who can teach, love and care for another little one. Does this mean we will have more, in the future we will try again for another little one, and if it happens great id not, I will be happy with what Heavenly Father blesses me with.

Elijah's 6th Birthday
In October the kids and I headed up to Wyoming to help out my parents while my Dad was recovering from some health problems. While there we had to get the kids out of the house for a while so we took them to the park. The kids love this park, there is a lot to do, and there is a big Jet and a tank on display.
Hannah and Elijah Loved this (what ever you call it) they ended up sitting on it later and spending a lot of time on it.
Mr. Monkey
Crossing the monkey bars for the very first time by him self.
This picture shows just how big Hannah is getting.
After Wyoming we headed down to Salt Lake were my Mom and I were going to Time Out For Women. While there we went and got Pizza for an early celebration of Elijah and my Dad's birthday's.
I love that Elijah's expressions are always so exciting when he gets gift's. There is never any complaints that he didn't get what he wanted.
Elijah's first snow Angel of the year.
Pink Queen.
I love this picture, he looks like he has shear happiness makeing this snow angel.
Elijah's cake that his Aunt Brittney made for him. I new I wouldn't have any time this year do to Adam's company Christmas party the day before. So Brittney came to my aid.
Elijah is such an amazing little man. He surprises me every day with all the things he says and does. I love that as of right now he still isn't afraid to say I Love You in public and will give me kisses every day. He is so loving and sweet, and can be very protective of his family. He still loves cars and trucks, and the bigger they are the better. He wants to be a baseball player, pilot, and a truck driver at this point in time. He is such an artist, the day doesn't go by that he hasn't made some sort of drawing or project. I can never get my desk clean because his drawing are always getting put on the desk. If I am preparing some thing in the kitchen he isn't far behind and asking if he can help. He is at that age were he wants to know every thing and often times gets upset if I give the simple answers. He is such a tender hearted young man and can't wait to see what the next year will bring for him.

Conference and Lots of Fall Fun
A couple weeks ago I told Hannah that as soon as I was done eating that I would paint her nails. She got mad at me and went to her room pouting. So that is were I thought she was. About 5 minutes later she came in, handed me the nail polish and showed me how she could do it her self. After checking the bathroom to make sure she hadn't got it every where, she didn't get a drop any where but on her figures, I decided she didn't do half bad for her first time.
On conference weekend we headed up to Yankee Meadows and the reservoir. We listened to conference on the way up and enjoyed time up playing and then listened to conference on the way back down. The kids got tired of me taking pictures but as soon as we got up there they ad a blast. Poor Elijah was so upset when it was time to go.
Adam tried teaching Elijah to skip rocks. I didn't really work so Elijah Climbed on on the rocks and Hannah just through rocks.
Being Silly.
Hannah is actually jumping in circles. She did this for about 5 minutes.
Doesn't get more perfect then this. Family, fun, conference, food, and just relaxing.
After coming down we headed over to Paragonah and got pumpkins. Elijah Had a blast trying to find the best pumpkins. Hannah was helping at first but got tired of it and went and played in the car.
Some more pictures up at Yankee Meadows.
After getting our pumpkins we went through the maze that is new this year. It was really good. It wasn't to easy but still simple enough for the kids to do it. Elijah wanted to take lead and got us to the end. He has always been really good with mazes.
If you found a marble in the maze you would get a treat at the end.
