Camping Fun

We went to the Park a couple weeks ago.  That may not seem big, but between all the rain, no car during day when Adam is at work, and other things we just have not been able to get to the park.  As you can tell Saige just loved it.  She was just loving watching the trees that were moving above her.  And of course it was short lived, after an hour it started to rain.  At least we made it for a short time.

Hannah made a tent the other day and insisted that her little sister had to come in with her.  Saige put up with it for about 10 min.

Love when cousins get together.

Elijah has been bugging us for ages to go camping, and of course things keep getting in the way of us going so, two day before we decided we were going, before anyhting else could happen.  So this last weekend we headed down to Red Cliffs to spend the time camping as a family.

What a great couple of days..  It waited to rain till morning.  So we took a beautiful hike in the rain.  On the hike we saw a great looking tree that had fallen over a long time ago.  Adam thought it was cool, it was all hallowed and Elijah called it a dinars our bone.  His reply was actually dinars our bones above the ground turn into trees.  There was another tree that had been struck by lighting a very long time ago.  And the branch was still attached so when it had fallen over it still kept growing so it was all twisted.  There are some things you don't take for granted and that was talking and spending time with my kids and husband. Hiking in the rain.  Had a full blast to the past while hiking today.  We started our hike and Elijah says "this isn't a hike it's a trail."  Yep so remember saying that to my mom.

  1. I had the same thought when we went vacationing down there. Glen said, "This isn't a hike, it's trail walk." and I just laughed out loud at all the times I said the same thing to mom. Man, I still love rock scrambling in the red hills. I'm so glad you guys got to go and had so much fun!
