Elijah's 6th Birthday

In October the kids and I headed up to Wyoming to help out my parents while my Dad was recovering from some health problems.  While there we had to get the kids out of the house for a while so we took them to the park.  The kids love this park, there is a lot to do, and there is a big Jet and a tank on display.

Hannah and Elijah Loved this (what ever you call it) they ended up sitting on it later and spending a lot of time on it.

Mr. Monkey

Crossing the monkey bars for the very first time by him self.

This picture shows just how big Hannah is getting.
After Wyoming we headed down to Salt Lake were my Mom and I were going to Time Out For Women.  While there we went and got Pizza for an early celebration of Elijah and my Dad's birthday's.
I love that Elijah's expressions are always so exciting when he gets gift's.  There is never any complaints that he didn't get what he wanted.

Elijah's first snow Angel of the year.

Pink Queen.

I love this picture, he looks like he has shear happiness makeing this snow angel.

This year we celebrated Elijah's birthday the weekend before his birthday.  This is also his year for having friends over in stead of just family.  So Saturday night we had a whopping 18 kids over for pizza, cake, ice cream, and lots of fun.

Elijah's cake that his Aunt Brittney made for him.  I new I wouldn't have any time this year do to Adam's company Christmas party the day before.  So Brittney came to my aid.

Elijah is such an amazing little man.  He surprises me every day with all the things he says and does.  I love that as of right now he still isn't afraid to say I Love You in public and will give me kisses every day.  He is so loving and sweet, and can be very protective of his family.  He still loves cars and trucks, and the bigger they are the better.  He wants to be a baseball player, pilot, and a truck driver at this point in time.   He is such an artist, the day doesn't go by that he hasn't made some sort of drawing or project.  I can never get my desk clean because his drawing are always getting put on the desk.  If I am preparing some thing in the kitchen he isn't far behind and asking if he can help.  He is at that age were he wants to know every thing and often times gets upset if I give the simple answers.  He is such a tender hearted young man and can't wait to see what the next year will bring for him.

Conference and Lots of Fall Fun

A couple weeks ago I told Hannah that as soon as I was done eating that I would paint her nails.  She got mad at me and went to her room pouting.  So that is were I thought she was.  About 5 minutes later she came in, handed me the nail polish and showed me how she could do it her self.  After checking the bathroom to make sure she hadn't got it every where, she didn't get a drop any where but on her figures, I decided she didn't do half bad for her first time.
On conference weekend we headed up to Yankee Meadows and the reservoir. We listened to conference on the way up and enjoyed time up playing and then listened to conference on the way back down.  The kids got tired of me taking pictures but as soon as we got up there they ad a blast.  Poor Elijah was so upset when it was time to go.

Adam tried teaching Elijah to skip rocks.  I didn't really work so Elijah Climbed on on the rocks and Hannah just through rocks.

 Being Silly.
Hannah is actually jumping in circles.  She did this for about 5 minutes.
Doesn't get more perfect then this.  Family, fun, conference, food, and just relaxing.

After coming down we headed over to Paragonah and got pumpkins.  Elijah Had a blast trying to find the best pumpkins.  Hannah was helping at first but got tired of it and went and played in the car.

Some more pictures up at Yankee Meadows.

After getting our pumpkins we went through the maze that is new this year.   It was really good.  It wasn't to easy but still simple enough for the kids to do it.  Elijah wanted to take lead and got us to the end.  He has always been really good with mazes.

If you found a marble in the maze you would get a treat at the end.

Labor Day Weekend

Over Labor day Weekend my Parents came down from Wyoming to visit.  We enjoyed our family time together.  We went boating and just had fun visiting.  When they came they brought Hannah "her" tomato's and grapes.  While here they also helped Andrew get the truck all packed up so he could move up to Wyoming with them.  So I no longer have any of my side of the family down here.  Good thing I got good family and friends down here though.

Grandpa Watson, Elijah, and my nephew Tyler.  We invited Dave, Jessie, Tyler, and Emily to join us.  We went to Minersville lake.  Went there last year as well and were just shocked when we pulled up and the water was so low.  It took me a while to figure out that not only was it low from the drought, but because the lake water was used to help put out fires that were near here during the summer.
Grandpa was brave this time out as he let the boys take over driving the boat.
Grandpa almost gets thrown out when Elijah or Tyler can't remember who it was took a sharp turn and Grandpa almost went in.  Elijah is driving in this picture but there is another picture that Tyler is driving and it also looks like Grandpa is about to fall in.  But Grandpa this is why we need to sit in the boat!!!
 Tyler driving.
Daddy and Hannah taking the puddle jumper.  Any one who is a star gate fan would no that term.  This little tiny boat reminds of a puddle jumper for some odd reason, call me weird, I will totally understand.
 Hannah and all her cuteness.
My brother in law Dave and his wife Jessie.
Elijah decide he could put the sunscreen on him self.  I was walking up to him and he said Mom I did and insisted he didn't need any more help rubbing it in.  Lets just say Daddy had to help him.

I love Tyler's face in the picture
