What is up with us crazy people?

So What is up with these and and crazy people?  Just trying to keep up with why wonderful and rambunctious kids.  It has been a while so this is a long post.  I guess will start with my not so glamorous cake.  Elijah Wanted a train cake for his birthday and so with my developing homemaking skills I attempted at making one.  I believe this would be consider a not so great looking cake.  But Elijah still loved it.  I actually have to tell you of something he said while we were in Salt Lake a couple weeks ago.  We had been doing something and I can't remember what it was but Elijah had said mom is a ho ho.  My mom about died laughing when he had said that, but he meant is Mom had made a train cake.  We are still trying to get him to say train, and it is not working.

Every other year we have Thanksgiving with Adam's family. Because there are so many of us we reserve the cultural hall for the day.  The kids have fun playing a running round, watching movies, and this year dancing and games.  Also they were able to write to Uncle Dave you is still up in the Salt Lake Hospital.  We missed him during all the fun.

The day after Thanksgiving we go up and get the Christmas tree.  Here you can see Adam and Uncle Jason trying to decide were to do the trimming.  With no kids this year and just Adam, Jason, Dad, and I, I was able to do some relaxing picture taking.   The sad thing is we have had the tree for a couple weeks and I just barly got it decorated last night.  Boy is that sad or what.

The first weekend they had the Christmas thing at Heritage Theater we took the kids to see all the Christmas tree's and even Santa.    So they took two pictures.  The first one Hannah was Smiling and the Second Elijah was Smiling and Hannah crying.  We decided to pic the one with Hannah crying because it's OK for the baby to cry and just sad when a 3 year old isn't happy to see Santa.
Elijah loved the North Pole.  He was so excited to see the penguins and loved the entrance to the North Pole.

Some other Funny stories that Elijah Has come up with:  Mom, one day kept tripping over Adams shoe's and had finally said Daddies boat shos keep getting in the way.  Elijah Walked over picked them up and said no.  He turned around and signed fishes.  I hadn't figured he would put the two together since we haven't talked about boat's.
This one is great in my opion.  We have been trying to get Elijah to say the word Train.  Well, Grandma was sitting at the table trying him to get him to say it by bribing him with something.  So she would say "Elijah can you say the word Train"  "Yes, ho ho."  Not what we were trying to get so I asked him the same thing "Elijah, can you say the word Train."  Elijah followed by saying "Word, ho ho."  Well, he said the word train.  Silly boy got to love the things he says sometimes.

Elijah had fun hanging out with his cousins while in Salt Lake.  All four of Grandma Mitchell's Grand Kids.  Hannah, Benjamin, Glen, and Elijah.

Elijah, Hannah (under all the blankets in her car seat), and Me.

While we were up there we decided to go see the Temple Lights.  They, as usual, were beautiful. We had a lot of fun once we were finally out of the van and new we were going to have to get back in for a while.  The kids had been in and out of the van 5-6 times that afternoon and it wasn't easy getting them in and out.
