WHY!!! Hopefully the Eye's

So to figure out what I mean in my title, you'll have to read to the bottom.

We have had to fun in the last couple weeks.

We attended the Utah symphony a couple of weeks ago.  It was great.  The kids made it about half way through before we had to go out to the foyer.  Which is longer than I thought they would last.  Hannah rather enjoyed it and Elijah well let just say that he would rather watch basketball or some other thing involving a ball.

During Conference, Elijah took the chance to build a house out of his blocks.  He doesn't get to actually finish building anything while Hannah is awake.  So he actually finished it for once.  Of course with Mommy helping.

This last week Adam was able to work in Cedar, so we packed up and headed out for a week.  It was nice becasue we had to be down there that weekend for a baby blessing.  That I never did make it to.
Hannah showed her funny side while traveling down.  While Elijah was busy being car sick Hannah showed us how much fun it is to be in a car seat.  Piling toys on her head, doing the splits.  This is just some of the things she was doing.  Didn't have to stop for that trip.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn exspress, so we were able to take the kids swimming the first night.  However I have made the mistake of not taking them swimming as much as I use to, because Elijah was to scared so he only lasted a few minutes.  Poor Uncle Andrew about freaked when he found out.  Those of you who do not know Andrew, well, he is a fish.
Here, Hannah is showing Daddy how to brush his hair.

Adam hanging with our new nephew Jayden.  He is the one that got blessed on the 10th.
After the weeks raining whether, My sister-in-law Tiffanie and I were ready for some park time.  We took the kids to Park Discovery.

So Sunday Morning we got the kids ready for church, I had just gotton finished getting dressed, and just an hour before church, what happens?
It happened, AGAIN.
Hannah trip and feel into a cabnet.  And of course need stiches.
My brother-in-law Joe brought to my attention that we might get her eyes checked.  So we have an appointmetn for Dec 6th.  Lets hope nothing else happens till then.

I am torn to having to deal with trying to keep glasses on a 18 month old her dealing with accidentprone child.  I am thinking the glass.  I hope it is something that is fixable and wont lead to someone calling DSFS on me.
While waiting for the numbing medication they took an hour to come back, I was beginning to think that they might have.
So I also missed my nephews blessing.  Missing that and getting Hannah stitches once again, I have to admit that I did get a bit teary eyed.

Well, Off we go.  See you later.

  1. I am so sorry about Hannah. Bennett fell and needed medical attention on the cut he received. That is when we got the suggestion to get his eyes checked. He didn't get glasses until 1st grade. Maybe it will be an easy fix.
JD stands for Joseph Duhn (pronounced Doon) after Trent's paternal grandfather.
We hope everything works out well for you.
