Memorial Day Weekend

It has been tradition on the Day side of the family to head to Filmore for Memorial Day weekend.  Between Fillmore and Meadow that is were my Dad, grandparents, and lots more family are buried.  We have averaged every other year in being able to go.  This year we were able to go, but only for Saturday.  We got up early and headed out to visit with family.  The kids had a lot of fun playing with there 2nd cousins while Adam and I were able to visit with Aunts, Uncles, and cousins that we haven't seen in a while.  We had a lot of people this year.  This was the first year that I have been there that almost all the cousins were together.

Lizards had been caught before we got there, so Elijah and Hannah enjoyed playing with them.

This had been the first time seeing my Grandma Ilene's head stone.  Sad I know, Haven't been able to stop by since her funeral in 2011.  It has been 2 1/2 years that she has been out of pain.

I didn't put a picture up, the kids did get to attempt to roast marshmallows over hot coals, so you can imagine that it didn't work to well, but they had fun doing it anyway.  And the grownups watched as marshmallows were thrown around in hopes of being caught in peoples mouths.  I was and am incapable of doing it but several others were able to.  All in all we had a great time visiting with family.

Father's and Son's (May 17-18)

The weekend before Memorial weekend Adam was able to take Elijah to Father's and Son's.  When they returned Elijah told me how fun it was and that he was disappointed to not have s'mores, so we had them the next weekend.  Other then that they both seemed to have fun.

Saige Kalianna Haley

Our third miracle baby, Saige Kalianna Haley joined our family April 30, 2013.  The biggest of my babies so far she weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.  This little lady has become a great big light in our home.  Hannah and Elijah love her to peices.  I was worried about Hannah and how she would act with the 4 year difference, but she is amazing and very helpful.

Coming Home

Grandma Watson with Saige

When Grandma Watson came down she brought Hannah her birthday gift, and afghan that she made for her.

Adam and my Mom had not been to the temple in a while so on the 4th we headed to St. George.  While they were at the temple I took the kids to a water park since I had forgotten that the Iron Man was going on and the water stream near the library was not really assessable.  The kids had lots of fun while Saige and I just basked in the sun.

I had bought some hair bows from a lady and when I got home found this adorable outfit, Adam and Hannah agreed we should use it for Saige's photos.
